Lord Ryven pleads guilty to weapons charges, gets jail time, probation. Still a dumbass.

I'm sure that many folks in the furry community will remember Josh Edelman aka Lord Ryven. He graced us with his presence at many furmeets and conventions, and provided us with much to laugh at.

But who knew about this?

Man sentenced for carrying gun, handcuffs

A Berks County man who sold vacuum cleaners in Pohatcong Township was jailed for two days and placed on probation for two years for illegally carrying a loaded pistol and a set of handcuffs.

Joshua Michael Edelman, 27, of 2341 Highland Street, West Lawn, was sentenced Friday by New Jersey Superior Court Judge John Pursel. According to court records, Edelman was going door-to-door in Pohatcong, selling vacuum cleaners on Dec. 14, 2006. Township police were called and found a pistol loaded with 10 hollow-point bullets, a pair of handcuffs and a pocket knife in Edelman's van.

Edelman did not have a permit to carry a firearm in New Jersey, and hollow-point bullets are prohibited in the state. Police also found Edelman possessed the handcuffs illegally. Edelman pleaded guilty Aug. 31.

Then there was the little Sheriff's Sale on Joshua Edelman's home awhile back. Ouch. That's gotta hurt.
